Advisory Tracking Period (Required Attendance)

Students participate in daily check-ins to build relationships, set goals, and receive individualized guidance. During the Advisory Tracking Period, Tracking Teachers:

  • Monitor academic progress and instructional engagement
  • Update grades and attendance documentation
  • Communicate with students and families
  • Provide targeted supports (e.g. SEL, executive functioning, language supports)

Mandatory Teacher-Led Instruction (Required Attendance)

Required live instructional sessions where students receive direct instruction, targeted academic support, and intervention aligned to enrolled coursework

Important: Students who do not attend required live sessions must demonstrate verified instructional engagement and completed work in the learning platform to meet daily instructional minute requirements.

Supplemental Teacher-Led Time (Optional)

Supplemental sessions provide additional academic support, enrichment opportunities and time to work on coursework with teacher guidance and accountability. These sessions are optional when students are making adequate academic progress.

Important: Students who do not meet instructional minute requirements or who fall behind academically may be assigned and required to attend supplemental sessions.

Asynchronous Learning Time

During designated asynchronous blocks (M/T/TH/F 2:00-3:30 PM and Wednesday 9:30 AM-2:00 PM), students are expected to:

  • Complete assigned coursework
  • Demonstrate instructional engagement
  • Generate documented evidence of learning in the platform

Important: Asynchronous work is used to meet any remaining daily instructional minute requirements through verified progress and completed assignments.
