Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to partner with each of you to ensure that every A.B. Miller student has a positive, meaningful, and academically successful year. We recognize that student success is built through a strong partnership between home and school, and we are committed to working together to help every student reach their full potential. When families and schools unite around a common purpose, we create opportunities that can positively impact the lives of our students and strengthen our entire community.

This year, our theme is “What’s Your 1%?” At A.B. Miller, we believe that excellence is achieved through small, consistent efforts each day. We encourage our students, staff, and families to focus on being just 1% better every day—whether that means improving attendance, completing assignments, showing kindness to others, asking for help when needed, or taking on a new challenge. Those small daily improvements add up to extraordinary growth over time. As a school, we are committed to doing our best every day to provide a safe, clean, supportive, and academically rigorous learning environment where all students can thrive.

At A.B. Miller High School, we live by Miller PRIDE. We expect all students to demonstrate Participation, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy in the classroom, on campus, and throughout our community. These values guide our actions and help prepare students for success in school, in college and careers, and in life. Throughout the year, we will continue to foster these characteristics and celebrate students who exemplify the spirit of Miller PRIDE.

We encourage every family to become actively involved in our school community. Attend school events, support our athletic and extracurricular programs, participate in parent workshops, and regularly monitor your student's progress through the Q Parent Connection app. Your involvement sends a powerful message to your student about the importance of education and helps strengthen the partnership that is essential for their success.

As we begin this new school year, I challenge each of us to ask ourselves: “What’s my 1% today?” Together, through our shared commitment to doing our best every day, supporting one another, and focusing on continuous growth, we can make this our most successful year yet.
